NetZoom for AutoCAD helps network and datacenter professionals design, document and diagram their network infrastructure, datacenter floor layouts and rack elevations in AutoCAD.

Using the NetZoom Project Explorer, users design a hierarchical model of the network or datacenter that is easy to navigate and manage. Built-in functionality automatically aggregates capacity parameters such as used rack space and total rack load for planning purposes.

The reporting capabilities of NetZoom let the user document hardware assets. Detailed reports such as inventory reports, warranty reports, capacity reports, and more are included with the application and customizable by the user.

For space planning, use rack and cabinet top views with door swings and service areas to plan and diagram the datacenter floor layout. NetZoom automatically creates up-to-date front and rear rack elevations that can be dragged and dropped into AutoCAD for diagramming elevation views of rows of racks.

At the core of the NetZoom solution is a vast symbol library of over 240,000 views of network, telecommunications, audio, video and security devices from over 4,500 hardware manufacturers. The symbol library includes all types of equipment found in networks and datacenters including racks, servers, switches, workstations, patch panels, UPSs, PDUs and air conditioners.

Each NetZoom symbol contains identifying manufacturer data, dimensions and capacity information. Since the properties are extensible, the user can add any additional data properties to maintain vital information.
