AutoTrack Junctions is an interactive roundabout design tool that can model and analyse standard and mini roundabouts to worldwide standards in 2D and 3D.

Model up to eight arms with full control over approach road alignments, entry deflection, entry/exit flare dimensions and splitter island size and location. Set limiting geometric values and see immediately when these are exceeded. Add pedestrian crossings, rumble strips and speed stripes. Edit all geometry and features using standard AutoCAD grips. Analyse and display fastest path radii & speeds in the easy to read ‘head up’ displays. Analyse approach, intersection, circulation and pedestrian crossing visibility sightlines.

The real-time link to the industry standard flow/capacity analysis program, ARCADY, means that the geometric design and flow/capacity analysis can be performed simultaneously. Every geometric change is passed in real-time to ARCADY which calculates flow/capacity performance indicators and returns them for display in the head up displays. Reduce hours of repetitive design / analysis iterations to seconds.

Use AutoTrack Roads Pro to snap design vehicle swept paths automatically to valid routes. Paths update automatically when roundabout geometry changes. Use the Animation and Flyby tools to view your design from any angle or the driver’s viewpoint.

For the full BIM solution and massive time savings run AutoTrack in Civil 3D. AutoTrack Junctions creates and updates the alignments for the Civil 3D corridor. Build the corridor using these alignments and when the 2D geometry changes the corridor is rebuilt automatically.
