Compatible Autodesk Application: AutoCAD Civil 3D and AutoCAD Civil

Trimble® Link™ is a software module that provides seamless data transfer between Autodesk® AutoCAD Civil and Civil 3D and office software and the following Trimble field software:

Trimble Survey Controller™ software on a Trimble controller
Geodimeter® CU600
Nikon Instrument
Trimble SCS900 software on a Trimble controller (AutoCAD Civil 3D only)
Survey Data Card

The unique strength of Trimble Link is that it is completely integrated into the Civil/Civil 3D software. When you install Trimble Link onto your computer, a Trimble toolbar is added to your Civil/Civil 3D interface. To transfer data to your Trimble field software, simply click the Trimble tool you need.

Trimble Integrated Surveying for Greater Efficiency

Trimble Link enables you to benefit from Trimble Integrated Surveying® from within your Civil/Civil 3D office software.

Because Trimble Link uses the same Data Transfer utility components found in Trimble’s own office software, the process for communicating and transferring files to or from Trimble Survey Controller is the same, whichever office software you are using. Your workflow remains simple, smooth, and efficient.

Powerful Data Transfer

Trimble Link imports GPS and/or conventional data into Civil 3D or AutoCAD Civil from your Trimble field software.

You can export the following to Trimble Survey Controller software:

Points
Feature code libraries
Surface files
Road alignments
Road designs (cross-section or GENIO based)
Geoid models or datum grid files (including graphical sub-gridding capabilities)

You can export points to Geodimeter CU600 or a Nikon Instrument.

You can export the following to Trimble SCS900 software:

Operator lists
Feature code lists

Control and stakeout points
Surface files
Calibration files
Foreground and background DXF files
Work orders
Geoid model files (including graphical sub-gridding capabilities).
