CIDEON Software GmbH, a subsidiary of CIDEON AG, is a software company specializing in SAP integration solutions. CAD Direct Integration for SAP PLM
As a worldwide SAP PLM development partner, CIDEON Software develops SAP PLM-Integration solutions for the CAD systems Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Mechanical, Autodesk Inventor, MicroStation, Solid Edge and SolidWorks. The direct link between CAD and SAP serves to automate the administration of all components which were designed using the CAD system along with the complete support of materials and Bills of Material in the SAP system. Duplicate records are thus avoided and drawings, models, exchange and neutral formats as well as viewfiles can be made available worldwide beyond individual departments and organizations.

Output Management
The CIDEON Output Management for SAP supports the individual phases of the SAP logistic processes with various modules to allow supplemental data to be plotted together with the Engineering data, e.g. using graphic depictions.

SAP PLM Interface Solutions
A range of software solutions assuring a perfect interaction between SAP and CAD including CIDEON Import PDM, CIDEON Export PDM and CIDEON Conversion Engine round off the CIDEON Software product range. These solutions facilitate the automated mass upload of CAD files and all other associated documents produced before the introduction of SAP PLM and the ability to conveniently export documents, individual parts and complete structural components from the SAP system into the desired file format (usually neutral or exchange formats) to external service providers and suppliers. Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM)
Modern facility management supports and automates FM processes and is geared towards maximizing efficiencies in real estate operations and technical facilities.  CIDEON Software offers the ideal extension to SAP solutions in the CAFM Suite.  This solution focuses on integrating CAD drawings into facility management processes using the CIDEON Publisher. On top of that, Visual Reports makes it possible to perform graphical analyses using the CAD drawings stored in the database. Using CIDEON Key Manager master-keyed systems can be administered within the SAP System and additional integration benefits can be used employing SAP standard functionality.
